Employer Toolkit: Training Grant Opportunities

Various state and federal agencies offer grants and incentives to businesses to help train workers, and Indiana employers may qualify for some of these dollars. The quickest way to find out whether you might qualify is to contact your WorkOne Business Services Representative to get a speedy referral to the appropriate contact.

Indiana Department of Workforce Development
The Indiana Department of Workforce Development (IDWD), working with local WorkOne Centers, administers Indiana's employment and training programs, as well as the unemployment insurance system. The department counts among its services numerous grants and funding opportunities that may assist qualified employers with some of their training needs.

Indiana Economic Development Corporation
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) is the state's leading economic growth agency (replacing the former Department of Commerce). In addition, IEDC oversees grant and loan programs, tax incentives, and many other business- and community-assistance programs.
